Yes we are committed to responsible disposal and recycling wherever possible. We handle general waste, garden waste, and especially WEEE (electrical and electronic) items with care.

• For electronics and electrical items (computers, monitors, appliances, etc.), Yorkshire Rubbish Clearance offers a dedicated recycling service: items are assessed, and where possible refurbished or dismantled so components can be recycled safely.

From £50, however our pricing depends on your postcode and the amount or type of items you need us to collect. Because every job is different, the quickest way to get an accurate price is to request a quote. Just tell us what you need removing and we’ll provide a tailored cost.

We collect waste from a wide variety of premises — both domestic and commercial — including:

• Homes, flats, houses and apartments (residential properties)  

• Offices, retail shops, and commercial premises such as shops and businesses

You can put many different types of waste in our skips including household waste, garden waste, as well as rubble and construction debris. In fact, it’s probably easier to let you know what you can’t put in our skips…

As a responsible waste carrier, we need to make sure that we are compliant with all legislation and regulations around waste collection, recycling and disposal. When it comes to skip hire, there are some items that we do not accept in our skips. Such items include:

• Asbestos
• Mattresses
• Gas canisters or gas bottles
• Batteries
• Hazardous chemicals

Yes. All rubbish clearance work carried out through Yorkshire Rubbish Clearance is completed by Yes Waste, a fully licensed waste carrier.

Yorkshire Rubbish Clearance operates as a local trading name of Yes Waste, allowing us to provide dedicated rubbish removal services across Yorkshire. All collections are handled by the same licensed team, vehicles, and disposal partners, and all waste is removed and disposed of in line with UK regulations.

Our Waste Carrier Licence is held by Yes Waste (CBDU117809). Waste transfer notes are provided where required.

We provide skip hire for a wide range of premises, including:

• Homes and residential properties – ideal for renovations, clear-outs, garden projects, and DIY waste.

• Commercial premises – such as offices, shops, restaurants, and other business locations.

• Construction and industrial sites – for building waste, rubble, and large-scale clearances.

• Public-sector and managed properties – including schools, housing associations, and community sites.

From £225, however Skip hire prices vary based on your location, the size or type of skip you need, and whether you’re disposing of any items that carry additional charges (such as mattresses, tyres, or certain electricals). 

Because every hire is different, the best way to get an accurate price is to request a quick quote with your postcode and skip requirements.

• We accept general household rubbish — from a single item up to multiple van loads. We’ll collect from anywhere on your property (house, flat, garage, shed, garden, attic, basement, stairs, etc.).  

• We take bulky waste — sofas, armchairs, beds, mattresses, furniture (tables, wardrobes, cabinets, desks), carpets, and similar large items, regardless of their condition (even if old, broken, damp or smelly).  

• We’ll collect household appliances and electronics — e.g. TVs, desks, and general electrical waste — plus mixed commercial waste, office clear-outs, and business-site rubbish.  

• We handle garden and outdoor waste — such as garden furniture, outdoor rubbish, and items stored outside or in sheds/garages.  

What we don’t take

• Hazardous waste and dangerous materials are excluded (for example — certain chemicals, asbestos, or items needing special disposal).  

• If you’re unsure about a particular item (e.g. very large bulky items, hazardous materials, or unusual waste), contact us and we’ll confirm whether we can collect it.
